The FCGBA is a diverse group of goat breeders in Freestone County, Texas, organized for Freestone County residents to use as a forum for assistance in marketing and husbandry of commercial, show, and backyard pet goats. Residents of Navarro, Henderson, Anderson, Leon and Limestone Counties are welcome to join.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Freestone County courthouse in the county courtroom on the second floor.

The association has awarded two scholarships. We appreciate all those who supported this effort. The scholarship winners are Jaelen Gilbreath, who has been accepted to Texas A&M and Erich Klein, who has been accepted to TSTC. Gary Tugwell, President of the association, presented award certificates at the May membership meeting.
